£10m cash injection for cycle projects

The Department for Transport has announced a £10m package of cycling improvements.

Transport minister Sadiq Khan revealed the money would benefit the Government’s cycling demonstration towns, the Peak District National Park and sustainable transport charity Sustrans.

Mr Khan said he was ‘hugely pleased’ with the demonstration town project.
